European giants emerge as favourites to sign Endrick as Xabi Alonso's huge Real Madrid overhaul continues

The 18-year-old Brazilian could be set to leave Los Blancos after just one season.

A huge European club reportedly want to sign Endrick after just one season at Real Madrid.

Endrick, 18, joined Real Madrid from Brazilian outfit Palmeiras in December 2022, but did not officially link up with the squad until his 18th birthday in June 2024.

And it’s fair to say the teenager’s first season at the La Liga giants did not go as well as he may have wished for.

Endrick produced just one goal and one assist in his 22 league appearances for the 15-time Champions League winners, although he scored five goals in six games in the Copa del Rey.

The forward struggled for a starting spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s side and faced competition from Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo and fellow youngster Arda Guler.

So, he could move on this summer if reports are to be believed.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Juventus “has gathered in-depth information in recent days” and could pursue a loan move.

Juve could face competition from fellow Serie A sides Napoli and AC Milan.

Endrick will, no doubt, be hoping to bolster his position within the Brazil national team now that Ancelotti has undertaken the head coach’s role.

However, Endrick was left out of Ancelotti’s first squad ahead of Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay in June.

Earlier this year, the Italian was asked about Endrick’s lack of playing time at Real Madrid, to which he replied: “It depends on many things. Beyond competition, there's nothing missing. It's a matter of competition. Players who are extremely high quality.

"I think the history of this club shows that many starters have sat on the bench for a long time. Vinicius [Junior], for a couple of years, Rodrygo, [Federico] Valverde, [Eduardo] Camavinga. If you want to be at Real Madrid, it's customary to sit on the bench for a bit."

Endrick himself admitted that he had to “improve” in order to reach the same level as some of his teammates.

“Here I am playing with many talents who can be declared the best in the world,” Endrick said in February.

“It is incredible to have them all by my side, helping me, but I have to improve in every exercise to be at their level, not only in matches, but also in training. Being part of Real Madrid is an honour, but also a challenge.”
