A Real Madrid star's mother earned more than seven first team players last season in her role as an agent, it has been reported.
Real employ some of the world's highest-paid players, with Capology stating that star striker Kylian Mbappe earns around £520,000 per week at the Bernabeu.
He is said to comfortably be the club's highest earner, with Vinicius Junior behind him on around £415,000 per week.
At the other end of the scale, Real have a number of academy stars in their first team squad that are on much smaller amounts, but even those salaries would be comparable to some of the top-earning players in teams lower down La Liga.

Mbappe's move to Real in the summer of 2024 was among the most defining deals of his generation, given that most elite European clubs had been chasing his signature on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
It always appeared likely that Real would win the race, and they splashed out on a staggering £130 million signing-on bonus (as per ESPN), spread over the length of his contract, to make that happen.

In terms of transfers at the highest levels, agents have played an increasingly important role in recent years, and are being compensated accordingly.
Between February 2024 and February 2025, as per BBC Sport, Premier League clubs shelled out a combined total of £409.1 million on agent fees.
Mbappe is represented by his mother, Fayza Lamari, a French former handball player who has acted alongside Mbappe since he was 15.
Portuguese outlet A Bola report that Lamari earns €4.5 million net per year for her services, a fee which was built in as part of Mbappe's five-year contract.
Her arrangement is slightly different to other players, as Lamari told Envoye Special in a 2024 interview that she had reached an agreement with Mbappe whereby she would receive 30 per cent of his earnings.

It is said that the agreement means that she earns more than seven Real Madrid first team players - Raul Asencio, Franco Mastantuono, Gonzalo Garcia, Andriy Lunin, Fran Garcia, Arda Guler and Brahim Diaz.
While Lamari's agreement appears to have been made directly with Mbappe rather than the club, it is not unusual for agents to receive significant commissions from clubs after big-money transfers are completed.
The Guardian reported that Neymar's agent Pini Zahavi pocketed around €45 million as an agent fee when his client completed his world-record £198m move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
And Mino Raiola, the agent of Paul Pogba, received £24 million as part of the France midfielder's transfer to Manchester United in 2016.
Most clubs pay a standard 10 per cent agent commission on a player's salary, while they can also receive fees as part of the overall transfer package.
As mentioned, Real did not pay a transfer fee as Mbappe's PSG contract was expiring, but that meant the France striker could request a significant signing-on fee which would also have been factored in to agent negotiations.
