Real Madrid's mystery Galactico signing has been revealed and it could bring a huge sum of money in for a Premier League side.
Florentino Perez has been challenged by Enrique Riquelme in the Real presidential election and the two have been sharing their fair share of promises in a bid to secure votes.
Riquelme has pledged to sign Manchester City pair Erling Haaland and Rodri in an outrageous double swoop, while Perez has been talking up a record-breaking signing if he is re-elected and continues in the role.
On Spanish TV show Horizonte on Thursday, Perez said that he is "going to make an offer to an important, Champions League club, for a great player".

Perez claimed that it would be Real's biggest ever transfer in history, with a fee of "at least €150 million".
Continuing, the 79-year-old said that the player, who is not at a Premier League club, is "of the calibre of Cristiano Ronaldo or Kaka" and is worthy of the "Galactico" tag.

But despite ruling out Harry Kane, Haaland and Michael Olise - it has since emerged that the Bayern Munich star is the player in question.
The Telegraph say Real are pursuing the Frenchman in a £130 million move, which would be a record incoming for Los Blancos.
Real Madrid £130 million deal could see Premier League side make millions
Olise has only been at Bayern for two seasons after signing from Crystal Palace and grown into one of the best players in the world, scoring 42 goals in 107 games.
And it's emerged, courtesy of Read Crystal Palace, that the Eagles will benefit hugely if Olise's potential Los Blancos switch happens.
When they sold him for £50 million, Palace, being well aware of his potential, inserted a 15% sell-on clause.
A £130 million deal would see them earn a tidy £19.5 million from a player who hasn't played for them since 2024.
The Conference League winners have sold Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi in recent times, but Olise's next move is evidently of interest to them.
Olise scored and assisted in both legs as Bayern beat Real 6-4 on aggregate in the Champions League quarter-finals.
In all competitions, he scored 22 goals and provided 31 assists in 52 games as Bayern won the Bundesliga.
Olise, who is currently focusing on his first World Cup campaign with France, has a contract until 2029 and his deal does not contain a release clause.
Real's record signing is current star Jude Bellingham, who signed from Borussia Dortmund in £88.5 million in 2023.
