But there's one former teammate that stood out to Casemiro above the rest as the most complete player he had ever seen, Gareth Bale.
"This play is the most complete in my career. Complete. Bale," he claimed while speaking on Rio Ferdinand Meets.
"Cristiano is the best, take Cristiano out of the conversation, but for me, Bale is the most complete player"
"Cristiano is a scorer, minimum 15 goals. But Bale is attack, defend, head, score, foul. Everything he does very good, very quick, too strong. And for me, Bale is an unbelievable, unbelievable player, unbelievable player."
Ferdinand then asked about other players Casemiro had played alongside, naming Neymar and Ronaldinho.
"Neymar doesn't even defend." Casemiro replied.
"Neymar is another player and Bale, in the best moment, attack, defend, score, head, foul, strong. It's helping the line forward. Bale is top."
Like Casemiro, Bale played a key role during one of the most sucessful periods in Real Madrid's storied history and was part of the side that won five Champions League titles.
Across his nine years with the Spanish giants, Bale scored 106 goals across 258 appearances in all competitions.
