Myles Lewis-Skelly's future revealed as Man United and Chelsea make final transfer decision
Myles Lewis-Skelly has learned where he will be playing next season after being offered to both Chelsea and Manchester United.
When he made his breakthrough at the start of the 2024/25 season, many thought that Lewis-Skelly could be the future of Arsenal's defence.
The Gunners' academy graduate went on to earning his debut England cap under Thomas Tuchel and made 75 appearances in all competitions, but struggled to get minutes last season.
In light of this, rumours regarding the 19-year-old's future began to emerge, with Manchester United reportedly considering a move following their failed pursuit of Newcastle United's Lewis Hall, who the Magpies labelled 'untouchable' following their turbulent summer.

It is claimed that United are 'long-term admirers' of the Arsenal youngster, with Chelsea also said to have been offered the chance to sign Lewis-Skelly.
According to reports, £45million is the price tag set by Arsenal for Lewis-Skelly, with the London club set to make pure profit from his sale.
But now, according to The Telegraph, both Chelsea and Manchester United have turned down the chance to sign the defender this summer.
Chelsea, after selling star defender Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid earlier this summer, are satisfied with new signing Pep Chavarria, who joined from Spanish club Rayo Vallecano’s fore a fee of up to £19m.
It claims that Xabi Alonso's side never even considered making an offer for Lewis-Skelly after an intermediary linked to the defender made contact to say he was available.
Likewise United, despite their interest in the past, declined the chance to sign the former England player this summer.
The decision leaves Lewis-Skelly's future role at Arsenal unclear as manager Mikel Arteta clearly favour both Riccardo Calafiori and Piero Hincapie at left-back.
And with Arsenal recently completing the signing of Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes, it's unlikely that Lewis-Skelly's ability to play in midfield will be much help in securing more minutes in the 2026/27 season.
With that in mind, it is believed that Lewis-Skelly has also been offered to other clubs in the Premier League, although it is not believed that Liverpool is among them.
Although he may have better chances elsewhere, the report adds that Lewis-Skelly is determined to fight for his place at Arsenal despite the increased competition.
England linked with surprise Premier League return
Although Lewis-Skelly looks to be staying put, it appears that another England defender could be on the move this summer.
As per The Sun, Premier League veteran Kyle Walker is reportedly a target for Everton this summer, offering the 36-year-old the chance to return to the top-flight after being relegated with Burnley last season.
Walker joined Burnley on a two-year deal from Manchester City in a £5million deal last summer, but has attracted interest from David Moyes who has tried to sign the right-back twice before.
Alongside Walker, Everton have also been linked with Crystal Palace's Daniel Munoz as the club targets a new defender before the window closes.
