Kevin-Prince Boateng Is Responsible For The Realest Answer In 'Messi vs Ronaldo' Debate

Summed up perfectly.

Kevin-Prince Boateng is still responsible for the realest answer ever produced in the Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate.

If there's one thing football fans will never agree on, it's Messi vs Ronaldo. The 'GOAT' debate has raged for years and we're no closer to an answer.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar and Manchester United legend have been compared for years but according to Boateng, who has actually played with Messi at Barcelona, Ronaldo needs to be respected for his dedication to being the best.

"For young people who are football players, Ronaldo should be the best in the world," he told SPOX.

"He is the best example to look at because he trains to the fullest and has talent. He works like a madman, he is passionate with everything he does and about football.

"He always wants to be the best. He always wants to be first in everything, so, for a player who is just starting, the one to look at should be him because he is perfect."

Boateng then goes on to say Messi 'transcends' the world with his ability and is 'above everything else.'

He continued: "Ronaldo makes all of this happen in this world, but only in this world.

"In what transcends this world, the best is Messi, because he is incredible, he does things that nobody can do.

"I do not see him in this world. Ronaldo dominates this world and Messi is above everything else."

Boateng spent the first half of 2019 on loan at Barcelona and played in attack alongside Messi as the duo won La Liga together.

"The six months at Barcelona were incredible," he told DAZN via Goal.

"At first, I didn't believe it. I thought it was Espanyol who wanted me, not the real Barcelona!"

Messi left Barcelona last summer and move to PSG and he's having a tricky time of it in France, scoring just once in Ligue 1 so far.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer, 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid.

He's scored 14 goals in all competitions as United battle for a place in the top four.
