Fans online think they know Julian Nagelsmann's next move after his ruthless 'sacking' at Bayern Munich.

Reports in Germany claim Nagelsmann has been relieved of his duties at the Allianz Arena despite leading them to the Champions League quarter-finals.

Former Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel appears set to replace him at the helm ahead of the remainder of the season.

But what about Nagelsmann? Well, people on social media, specifically Tottenham fans, are convinced a move to the Premier League is on the cards.

Spurs fans are convinced he's the perfect manager to replace Antonio Conte, whose job is under threat following his sensational rant after draw at Southampton.

One Twitter user wrote: "Nagelsmann is almost perfect for Spurs. Nagelsmann took RB Leipzig to the Champions League semi final at 33 years old, completely transformed Hoffenheim in just one season, got them to play exciting modern football and constantly gets the best out of his players. hope it happens."

A second added: "I think it’s fair to say Julian Nagelsmann is a manager Tottenham fans would be very happy and excited with. Ticks all the boxes."

A third said: "I don’t think any Spurs fan in the world is against Julian Nagelsmann, what a way to unite the fanbase."

Another commented: "Nagelsmann to Spurs would be absolutely perfect in every sense possible."

Former Spurs player Jamie O'Hara tweeted: "Nagelsmann sacked by Bayern, Spurs should get straight on the phone to him."

Nagelsmann, 35, has yet to manage outside of Germany, but he's previously admitted he 'could imagine' working in the Premier League.

Speaking in 2021 during his time at RB Leipzig, he said: "The Premier League is a very interesting league and I can imagine it could be a big aim to be a big manager in the Premier League one day like Jurgen who is very successful. It could be a step in the future.

"But, you know, in soccer it's not that easy to plan how long will you be a manager in Leipzig? When will you go to the Premier League? I could imagine going to the Premier League.

"I could imagine staying as a manager in the Bundesliga for my whole career. It's cool to be a manager in my own country, I love it. But then perhaps in the future we can meet face-to-face in the Premier League, who knows."
