Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart left a young supporter in floods of tears after signing his glove. Check out the footage below.

Hart is a popular figure at Celtic Park and helped Ange Postecoglou's side to Scottish Championship glory in his debut campaign.

The 35-year-old has a legion of fans and outside the club's Lennoxtown training ground, he made one lucky lad's day.

A video posted to TikTok shows the youngster unable to contain his emotions as Hart offers to sign one of his goalkeeper gloves.

As Hart approaches in his car, he can be seen jumping up and down in joy with what appears to be his sister and mother.

The adrenaline quickly catches up however and he leans on Hart's car with floods of tears rolling down his face.

Hart attempts to comfort him as does his mum and after signing the glove, he shakes the boy's hand.

It's what football is all about isn't it? One small gesture will have made a child's week.

Fans on social media have reacted to the video and they have maximum respect for the Premier League winner.

One person commented: "Joe Hart gets it, he gets Celtic, he gets us, much love."

Another said: "Didn't give Joe Hart much thought before he came to us but now I think he's one of my favourite people."

A third tweeted: "Doesn't take much to make someone's day and that wee guy will be talking about that for years to come."

While another added: "We're not crying, honest."

Hart made a whopping 54 appearances in all competitions last season after arriving from Tottenham Hotspur.

He helped Celtic regain the Scottish Premiership after seeing bitter rivals Rangers win their first title since 2011 a year prior.

The Hoops started the defence of their crown with a 2-0 win over Aberdeen on Sunday.

They return to action against Ross County on August 6.
