Huddersfield Town FC have finally unveiled their 2025/26 home kit and it sees the West Yorkshire-based team pair up with a bit of an unlikely sponsor.
Given that other teams have been sponsored by everything from gambling and financial services to airlines and food and drinks brands, some might have been surprised to see them partner this cult footwear brand.
But it's fair to say fans are loving it.
Coming on board as the front of shirt sponsor for at least the next three seasons, for both the men's and women's First Teams, HEYDUDE's golden logo takes centre stage on the blue and white striped design for the upcoming season.
And this is a first-of-its-kind agreement for the international footwear brand.
You might have spotted the designer shoes as you’ve been out shopping, or all over TikTok where they've gained a bit of a cult following.
First founded in Italy back in 2008, the brand is now part of the Crocs family - giving you an indication as to just how comfortable and casual their pieces are.

With their bestselling 'Wendy' and 'Wally' styles, that have been spotted on many celebrities in recent years, starting at £44.99, they also have a number of sportier designs and trainers, which is why it maybe isn’t quite as out of left field to see the footwear brand pair up with the footie club for the next few years.

A Huddersfield Town spokesperson said the team were "extremely proud to be able to announce this innovative new partnership," calling the brand a "fast growing and vibrant business that appeal to a family audience and provide a wide range of footwear for men, women and children."

What are fans saying?
There’s always a reaction whenever a club releases a new strip, and The Terriers fans have been sure to take to social media to share their thoughts since the announcement was first made.
Posting on the team’s official TikTok account, one fan exclaimed: “New kit looks amazing! Can’t wait to rock it!”
While another simply added: “Class kit.”
A third echoed these thoughts: “Looks [fire emoji].”
