One EA SPORTS FC expert has revealed exactly how players can tell that they have packed a walkout in this year's Ultimate Team.
The 2024/25 football season is well and truly underway, with teams across Europe already several matches deep into their campaigns.
Of course, with a new season comes a new edition of the popular football video game EA SPORTS FC and a new version of the fan favourite Ultimate Team mode.

And just over a week before the game officially launches, one EA SPORTS FC expert has revealed how gamers can tell if they have packed a highly-rated walkout player in this year's game.
In each new edition of EA SPORTS FC, the animation for opening packs changes, meaning fans of the series have to figure out how to tell if they have packed a player that is rated 86 or higher, also known as a walkout.
In this year's game all packs will show two lines of lights which run from the front to the back of the tunnel on either side of a player's silhouette.

However an EA SPORTS FC expert has revealed that, if you have packed a walkout, the lights will continue past the silhouette and create a triangle shaped outline at the back of the tunnel.
This information was first discovered as popular EA SPORTS FC streamer Castro1021 was lucky enough to pack 91 rated Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland just hours after receiving early access to this year's game.
EA SPORTS FC 25 will launch worldwide at midnight on September 27, but fans who preorder the Ultimate Edition of the game will be able to gain access a week earlier on September 20.

In this year's game, there will be a series of big changes to Ultimate Team that fans including some to the FUT Champions mode.
In EA SPORTS FC 25, players will only have 15 matches in FUT champs, significantly less than the 40 matches that were required only a few years ago.
All matches in the game mode must be played over one weekend, leading EA to reduce the total number from 40 to 30, then 20, and now just 15 in the latest game.
