Fans stunned at how much Erling Haaland has spent on EA Sports FC after he reveals Ultimate Team

Erling Haaland has shared his Ultimate Team on EA Sports FC 24.

Erling Haaland has showed off his Ultimate Team on EA Sports FC 24 and fans reckon he's spent a whole lot of money on the game.

The Manchester City goal machine is a dedicated professional and goes to extreme lengths to ensure he's in the best condition on the pitch, including a diet featuring cow's heart and taping his mouth shut when sleeping.

But he also enjoys playing video games in his spare time, specifically EA FC 24 - where he is the game's cover star.

The Norwegian was getting stuck into an Ultimate Team session on Friday night and showed off his five-star side.

And it's fair to say that the Premier League Golden Boot winner has spent a fair amount on the game to create a serious squad.

We can't quite see his goalkeeper but Haaland has a strong backline which includes his City captain Kyle Walker, Virgil van Dijk, Eder Militao and Roberto Carlos - the latter with a 90-rated Icon card.

In midfield he's got special cards for Yaya Toure and Ruud Gullit, just behind a devastating duo of 93-rated Ronaldinho and Kylian Mbappe - deemed to be Haaland's rival for the next era at the top.

But up top is where they's a bit of controversy. No-one can blake Haaland for choosing his own 94-rated card but he's paired himself with his cousin Jonatan Brunes, who plays in Belgium with OH Leuven.

Remarkably, he decided to drop Ronaldo Nazario to the bench and give his relative the nod - causing him to issue an apology to 'R9'.

He wrote: "Sorry @ronaldo have to drop you for my cousin @jonatanbrunes."

'O Fenomeno' makes up sublime bench alongside Rodri, Vinicius Jr, Pele, Wayne Rooney and Dominik Szoboszlai.

You can also see Cristiano Ronaldo in the reserves but there is no place for Lionel Messi in the squad.

On the pitch, Premier League top scorer Haaland has gone a couple of games without scoring and will be desperate to get back amongst the goals as City face Luton Town on Sunday.
