A top EA FC expert has revealed one massive leaked feature set to be introduced in this year's game, and it changes everything.

In just over one week fans will be able to get their hands on the latest edition of the EA SPORTS FC series, as the 2025 game launches on September 27.

The latest edition of the beloved football video game will introduce a host of new features, including a brand new five a side mode that can be played across Kick Off, Pro Clubs, Career mode and Ultimate Team.

And now, another massive feature has been revealed by an EA FC expert and it will send shockwaves through the community and completely change how every match is played

Posting the news on X, the expert revealed that quitting games early will not change a player's form, meaning that their skill based matchmaking will not be impacted.

The loss will still count on the player's record if they quit early, but they will not benefit from being matchmade against someone with the same number of losses as they have if they decide to leave games early.

This measure appears to have been introduced to combat people quitting matches early out of anger, something that has become fairly commonplace in the EA SPORTS FC series.

The expert later added that this feature will 100% be in place for matches played in the online live friendlies mode, but it had not been confirmed for the popular division rivals or Ultimate Team champions modes.

That being said, the official update from EA announcing the change in the friendlies mode does clarify that a similar system will be used for Ultimate Team.

This news comes alongside other massive changes to the ultimate team mode, particularly in the highly-competitive FUT champs, which offers players the best rewards.

For EA SPORTS FC 25, gamers will only have to play 15 matches in FUT champs, significantly less than the 40 matches that were required only a few years ago.

All champs matches must be played over one weekend, leading EA to reduce the total number from 40 to 30, then 20, and now just 15 in the latest game.
