Wayne Rooney made a telling comment about Wrexham vs. Chelsea, leaving his co-host stunned with his revelation.
Wrexham and Chelsea played out a thrilling FA Cup fifth round tie on Saturday.
The Championship side, who are gunning for promotion to the Premier League this season, eventually succumbed to the Premier League club, who ran out 4-2 winners at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham, however, took the lead before Liam Rosenior's side levelled. Phil Parkinson's team regained their lead before the Blues equalised again.

The hosts, who were cheered on by Hollywood co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, went down to 10 men in normal time before the match went to extra-time, where Chelsea scored two goals to secure victory and passage to the next round of the competition.

Rooney was at Wrexham vs. Chelsea, working as a pundit for BBC, who aired the FA Cup fixture in the UK.
And speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show podcast with Kelly Somers and Kae Kurd, he revealed that Wrexham vs. Chelsea is the most he's enjoyed football since he stopped playing.
Asked if he enjoyed the cup clash, Rooney replied: "Do you know what? I think it's the most I've enjoyed the game of football since I stopped playing.
"Just the atmosphere, the fans. We had to walk through the fans quite a bit to get the pitch out and stuff and the fans were great. It's probably the first time I've been to a stadium and not been given any stick as well, so... Yeah, that was nice, but not just the atmosphere, the game. I thought it was a really good game. Wrexham were excellent."
The Manchester United and England added: "My favourite game since I stopped playing was Barcelona vs. Inter. It was the semi-final last year and this one's took over. I really enjoyed it."

Wrexham vs. Chelsea was a proper cup game and even though the Welsh outfit lost, Reynolds said it 'felt like a win' and praised his side's effort on social media.
On X, he wrote: "Three years ago this week, we battled Maidenhead United to a draw. Today we pushed Chelsea to extra time. So incredibly proud of Wrexham’s performance today."
