Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze was not best pleased with a Sky Sports reporter who attended Eagles training on Wednesday.
Eze, 27, has been linked with both Arsenal and Spurs throughout this summer but remains a Palace player for now.
Earlier this week, The Athletic reported that interest from the Spurs was set to “accelerate” as the September 1 deadline edges closer.
The England international has continued to train and even played for Palace during their 0-0 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Sunday despite the uncertainty about his future.

After the match, head coach Oliver Glasner was asked about the futures of both Eze and centre-back Marc Guehi, who is linked with Liverpool.

"Who knows this is the truth, what is written, there are rumours and so many rumours and everyone tells something for their own advantage, maybe,” said Glasner.
He added: "I am quite calm, but I also know we have two weeks to go and I know Ebs [Eze's] clause is gone, so it is the club's decision, and we will see what happens."

Also on Sunday, journalist Fabrizio Romano issued an update via X.
Romano wrote: “Tottenham and Crystal Palace chairmen Daniel Levy and Steve Parish, in direct contact today for Eberechi Eze deal.
“Understand Spurs are willing to offer £55m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons to get the deal done.
“Eze informed Palace last week of his desire to join #THFC.”

However, despite the reports, Eze is still training with Palace as they prepare for tomorrow’s Europa Conference League play-off first leg against Norway’s Fredrikstad at Selhurst Park.
And on Wednesday, Sky Sports’ cameras were invited into Palace’s training ground to watch a segment of their session before the European clash.
While the Eagles were put through their paces, Sky Sports’ Gary Cotterill was just yards from Eze and midfielder Adam Wharton but still spoke about their futures.
“I’m not going to ask Adam Wharton about his future, though,” Cotterill said before Eze turned towards him momentarily and gave him an ominous side eye.

Wharton then turned around and pointed to the Crystal Palace badge on his training shirt.
“He’s just concentrating on the job at hand,” Cotterrill continued about Eze, who he explained had jokingly told him to “give it a rest”.
And some Palace fans on social media were not pleased with Cotterill.
One said: "@gary_cotterill, you’ve been given open access to a training session and you choose to spend it trying to disrupt the players loudly speculating about their future in earshot."

Another added: "You seldom see Football Twitter as united over anything as they are in their disdain for Gary Cotterill. It’s lovely to see."
A third explained: "The guys an idiot just leave him alone to train. Just shows what a man EZE is to take no notice of him."
