
Sky Sports News issued a statement after their coverage went down just hours before the start of the day’s Premier League action.
Despite the 12:30 pm Premier League matches being broadcast by TNT Sports, a number of fans across the country rely on Sky Sports News to keep up to date with the weekend’s action.
Whether you are looking forward to the Premier League clash between Chelsea and Liverpool or follow a League Two or even Non-League team, SSN usually has you covered.
These days, with the 3 pm blackout still part of English football’s schedule, supporters rely on the verbal descriptions from Sky’s many pundits, including the likes of Clinton Morrison and Paul Merson, to map out what is happening in their side’s respective fixtures.

However, some may have feared the worst just before 9 am on Saturday morning when the broadcast cut out just hours before the start of the day’s football.

The issue lasted around 15 minutes with coverage restored at 9:05 am. The error led to Sky issuing a statement on the broadcast, which read: "We apologise for the temporary loss of our graphics service."
Ten fixtures across the Football League, Women’s Super League and Premier League will be shown by Sky Sports on Saturday, with Liverpool’s trip to Chelsea the pick of the bunch.

But if you want your European football fix, Sky Sports has you covered, as they are scheduled to broadcast Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga away match with Eintracht Frankfurt.
The in-form Harry Kane will be looking to continue his goalscoring exploits, having already scored 17 times in just nine appearances in all competitions so far this term.
Then on Sunday, Sky Sports will also broadcast the East Anglian derby between Ipswich Town and Norwich City at 12:00 pm, before viewers will have a choice of four Premier League games – Aston Villa vs Burnley, Everton vs Crystal Palace, Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton and Hove Albion – to choose from at 2:00 pm.
The final Premier League fixture of the weekend will also be broadcast by the channel, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City set to travel to west London, where they will face Keith Andrews’ Brentford at 4:30 pm.
