Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has announced his decision to step away from the Poland national team until one thing changes.
Lewandowski, 36, is one of the greatest strikers of his generation and arguably Poland's best ever player.
Having scored 85 goals in 158 appearances, Lewandowski is his country's record goalscorer and has captained the team over the last few years.

The striker wrote: "Taking into account the circumstances and a loss of trust in the coach, I have decided to resign from playing for the Poland national team for as long as he remains in charge.
"I hope I will still have another chance to play again for the best fans in the world."
