Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys didn't hold back as he gave Erik ten Hag a new nickname following him being sacked by Bayer Leverkusen.
Just three months after he was chosen as the successor to Xabi Alonso, Ten Hag was officially sacked by Bayer Leverkusen on Monday morning.
The Dutchman managed just two Bundesliga matches for the German side in what was his first job since his two-year sting at Manchester United.
As soon as the decision was made public, fans and pundits were quick to criticise Ten Hag, despite the fact that he led the side to one win and one draw in his three competitive matches.

But perhaps the most brutal criticism has come from Keys, who took to social media to reveal the brand new nickname that he has come up with for the 55-year-old.
In a short statement confirming the news, Leverkusen announced: "Bayer 04 has parted ways with head coach Erik ten Hag with immediate effect. The assistant coaching staff will temporarily take over training duties."
Shortly after, Keys, who has previously been vocal on his opinion on the Dutch manager, took to social media to jokingly take another another jab at Ten Hag.

Posting on X, he wrote: "Erik ten Days this time. Perhaps he was trying to buy Antony again?"
The decision, which many have deemed to be harsh given the fact that Leverkusen have sold many of their best players this summer, including star player Florian Wirtz, could have a major impact on Ten Hag's future as a manager.
However, it is likely that it won't leave him short of money as, having penned penned a two-year deal with Leverkusen in May that reportedly saw him earn around £4.7million per year, he could now be owed more than £8m in wages after just a 62-day reign.
Exact details around a severance payout are yet to be confirmed.

Unfortunately for Ten Hag, Keys wasn't the only notable media personality who decided to kick him while he was down following him losing his role at Leverkusen.
Like the beIN Sports presenter, popular journalist Morgan has been outspoken against Ten Hag in recent years, particularly regarding his treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo following his return to United in August 2021.

Therefore, he too decided to take a jab at Ten Hag once news of his sacking was made public, writing on X: "Stunned by this news. I thought he’d be gone after one league game, not two. Sleep well tonight, Erik."
