Ruben Amorim has decided to leave Rasmus Hojlund out of Manchester United's squad to take on Arsenal in a further indication that his Old Trafford career is over.
Hojlund was facing a battle to be named in the starting XI after the arrival of striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
The Dane scored just four Premier League goals last season and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
He was an unused substitute in United's final pre-season friendly fixture against Fiorentina.

But he will not even be involved among United's bench when they take on Arsenal at Old Trafford in what is a significant decision by Amorim.
According to The Athletic, Hojlund has been personally told that he faces 'a challenge to get minutes' this season and has therefore been left out of the squad.
In his pre-match press conference, Amorim remained non-committal on whether the Dane would be involved at Old Trafford on Sunday.
It now appears increasingly likely that Hojlund has played his last game for United.

The 22-year-old has attracted loan interest from AC Milan, though Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth revealed on Friday that Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the situation.
Talks with Serie A giants Milan will likely centre around a loan deal with a future option to buy, it is claimed.
Speaking in a media conference during the Premier League Summer Series last month, Hojlund told reporters: "I think the most important thing for me is to keep working hard and keep focused, and we'll see what happens.

"But my plan is very clear, and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot whatever happens.
"I'm still very young, I think people forget that sometimes. I'm only 22. Obviously not every striker is scoring 100-plus goals in the age of 22.
"But I've learned a lot. I think you can see in my game, I'm starting to develop and become even better in the basics, and now it's just about me to sharpen myself. It's just about focusing on continuing that."
