A clear divide has emerged in Manchester United's dressing room as the club's disastrous form under Ruben Amorim shows no signs of improving.
United were thrashed 3-0 by rivals Manchester City on Sunday to leave them 14th in the Premier League.
Amorim's side have taken just four points from their opening four games this season and are already out of the Carabao Cup, having lost to League Two side Grimsby Town in a second round upset.
Former Sporting boss Amorim has the lowest win percentage of any permanent United manager since the World War II with 36.17 per cent, while he has picked up just eight wins from 31 Premier League games since replacing Erik ten Hag in November.

To put that into perspective, Ten Hag boasts a 54.7 per cent win percentage from his time at United.
The club have now made their worst start to a season since the 1992/93 campaign but have no plans to sack Amorim, who is under contract until 2027, with the MEN reporting that the Portuguese retains the support of the United hierarchy.

But that could change in the coming weeks, with United next facing Chelsea, Brentford and in-form Sunderland before a daunting trip to Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Times report that despite the lack of positive results at Old Trafford, Amorim is not facing an 'overwhelming revolt' from his players.
However, it is claimed that a clear divide is emerging in the United dressing room.
"Some players are annoyed at not playing, and are disaffected by certain elements of Amorim’s regime — including his refusal to change the system — but there is also significant support for the head coach," read the report.
Amorim has refused to deviate from his preferred 3-4-2-1 system and has admitted the club would have to sack him before he changed his tactics.

"I'm not going to change," he said. "When I want to change my philosophy, I will change. If not, you have to change the man."
Amorim admitted last week that "sometimes I want to quit", raising speculation over his long-term future at Old Trafford.

However, sources close to the head coach have denied that he has started negotiating his exit from his post.

It comes after Benfica presidential candidate Joao Noronha Lopes was spotted at the Etihad on Sunday, fuelling speculation Amorim could be set for a return to Portuguese football.
Lopes was joined by former teammate and close friend Nuno Gomes, who is in line to become vice-president if the former is appointed club president.
Speaking to Portuguese media at the weekend, Lopes said: "Ruben Amorim is the coach of Manchester United so I can't answer the questions.
"One thing I know, Ruben Amorim will be the coach of Benfica one day.

"Joao has already shown in recent years that he is capable of changing Benfica, to make it greater and different from what it has been in recent years."
