Man Utd Fans Demand Two Players Are Dropped Immediately After Man City Nightmare

Another low point for Ruben Amorim and Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester United fans are demanding two players to be dropped from the team immediately after their convincing 3-0 defeat at Manchester City.

On what was another tough afternoon for Ruben Amorim's side, Erling Haaland scored twice either side of half-time after Phil Foden's header had given City the lead.

United posed little threat going forward for the most part, with Luke Shaw's misdirected pass straight to Haaland, allowing the Norwegian to run into their own half unchallenged to score his second, summing up their afternoon.

There was a rare moment of quality in the second half, with Bryan Mbeumo forcing a superb save out of new City signing Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Amorim made changes in an attempt to get back into the game but they only succeeded in making his side even more unbalanced.

City continually opened United up in the last 20 minutes and, but for better finishing, could have embarrassed their rivals even further - though Patrick Dorgu glanced a header wide for the visitors in the closing minutes.

Unsurprisingly, United fans were left furious at the performance and have called out two players in particular for how they played at the Etihad Stadium.

One wrote: "Ugarte and Luke Shaw are an embarrassment."

A second wrote: "Surely Amorim knows he can't be starting Ugarte anymore."

A third said: "Luke Shaw has been horrific. Not sure how he continues to start."

While a fourth added: "Luke Shaw is basically playing just because he's left-footed. That's the only reason."

And before Mainoo was brought on - for Noussair Mazraoui - another wrote: "I've seen enough of Manuel Ugarte already. Get Mainoo on."

It is now four points from four games for United this season, who are only two places above last season's Premier League finishing position of 15th.

They host Chelsea at Old Trafford next Saturday in what is sure to be a critical game for Amorim and his side.
