Manchester United fans were left confused after noticing a strange detail about Ruben Amorim's hands during their Europa League semi-final.
On Thursday night, United secured their fifth cup final in five years as a 7-1 aggregate win over Athletic Club sealed their place in the final of the Europa League.
Tensions were high heading into the tie as winning the Europa League and securing a place in next season's Champions League offers Amorim the chance to redeem what has otherwise been a dismal season.

And it appears that the tension may have gotten the better of the Portuguese manager, after fans spotted a bizarre detail about his hands during the match.
As United welcomed Athletic Club to Old Trafford for the second leg of the Europa League semi final tie, they boasted a confident 3-0 lead having dominated their opponents the previous week.
However, going into half-time, the visitors had managed to pull one back, causing concerns among United fans and players that the Spanish side could be setting up a spectacular comeback.

But fans are convinced that Amorim was perhaps the most worried about losing the tie, as they noticed that United boss had put a plaster over his left hand during the half-time break, and they think they know exactly why.
After a Premier League defeat to Brighton in January, Amorim admitted that he had damaged a TV screen in the club's changing room in an act of pure anger and frustration.
While he later promised that he would never allow his emotions to get the better of him in such a way again, some fans think he may have injured his hand while taking his half-time anger out in the changing room on Thursday night.

Noticing the plaster, one fan wrote on social media: "Amorim put a plaster on the back of his hand?"
While one joked: "Amorim definitely punched something in the dressing room at half time. See the plaster on his left hand."
Another agreed with this theory, adding: "Did anyone check the TVs in the changing room is ok? Amorim had a plaster over his knuckles."
United will face Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final which will take place on May 21 at the San Mames stadium in Bilbao.
