Real Madrid star 'makes decision' on joining Man Utd in January

The Real Madrid star has made a decision regarding his next club after struggling for minutes at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid star Endrick has outlined requirements for his next club and it is bad news for Manchester United.

The Brazilian starlet agreed to sign for Real in December 2022, eventually joining in a £52 million switch from Palmeiras when July 2024 when he turned 18.

He made 37 appearances in his debut season, scoring seven goals - the majority of which came in the Copa del Rey.

Endrick was tipped to follow in the footsteps of compatriot Vinicius Jr and become an integral player for Los Blancos , particularly after being handed the No.9 shirt.

But the 19-year-old's development has stunted in recent times. A hamstring injury disrupted his pre-season and meant he did not feature at the Club World Cup in the United States.

With Real's attack well stocked following new arrivals, Endrick has not made a single appearance this season for Xabi Alonso's side and has been heavily linked with a departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.

A potential swap deal for Kobbie Mainoo at Manchester United has been mooted, while multiple other Premier League sides, Juventus and Marseille are also understood to have registered interest.

But United, among others, have been ruled out following a new development in regards to Endrick's situation.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that Endrick wants to leave on loan in a bid to secure his spot at the 2026 World Cup with Brazil, managed by his former Real boss Carlo Ancelotti.

However, ESPN Brasil outlined the four demands Endrick and his team have regarding his next club - with United falling short.

Endrick wants to play for a team in the top five leagues - or one of the top three clubs in Portugal - and the club must be competing in the Champions League or Europa League.

United failed to qualify for Europe after finishing 15th in the Premier League and losing the Europa League final to Spurs, who qualified for the Champions League.

His representatives also want a team who have an emphasis on playing attacking football and are competing for the league title in their respective country.

As per Sky Germany, Borussia Dortmund, who Real have dealt on a number of occasions, have emerged as a potential destination for Endrick.

However, Alonso is not yet dismissing Endrick's first-team prospects and believe he still has a part to play in his squad.

"Endrick on loan? We're not at that point yet,” Alonso said prior to the win over Juventus.

"The competition in attack is intense. We have to be prepared for every game. Endrick, Gonzalo, and Brahim have to be ready.

"They're going to come in, and have to be ready. This is the elite, and we need a lot of good players."
