Paul Scholes says three Manchester United stars are no longer up to Premier League level ahead of their huge clash against Liverpool.
Man United resume their league campaign on Sunday when they travel to Anfield to face Arne Slot's Liverpool.
Ruben Amorim's side have endured a mixed start to the new season, having already lost three league games this season.
But the Red Devils have shown glimpses of Amorim's identity following victories over Chelsea and Sunderland.
Despite occupying a spot in the top half of the table, several Man United players have come under fire for their below par showings.
And Scholes has ripped into Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Casemiro ahead of Man United's meeting at Anfield.
He claims the Man United trio are no longer up to Premier League level, bemoaning their lack of athleticism that is required in today's game.
"Shaw, Maguire, Casemiro, they've all been great players but they're at a stage of their career now where you get found out in the Premier League if you're not physically good enough." he told The Times.
"Their bodies are not athletic enough, they're not strong enough, they're not quick enough. They've dropped to a level where they can't cope with what's needed in the Premier League."

"Manchester United are carrying two or three players that are just not capable of living with it."
Shaw has featured in every league game for Man United this season, while Maguire and Casemiro have made six league appearances.
But they have all been subjected to criticism for their outings this season.
Casemiro was sent off against Chelsea. Image: Getty Scholes' former Man United teammate Roy Keane was critical of Shaw's performance in their defeat to Manchester City, claiming he had been 'getting away with murder for years'.
Shaw reacted to Keane's comments, saying: "Sometimes you just have to take it on the chin.
"Of course it hurts. He was one of the best captains ever for Manchester United.
"I think he was right. Last week, I wasn't at my level at all. I don't need Roy Keane to tell me."
Shaw, Maguire and Casemiro could all feature against Liverpool.
