Marcus Rashford has responded to criticism from a Manchester United fan on social media which prompted the fan to quickly backtrack.
After a public fallout with Ruben Amorim, Rashford is set to leave Old Trafford this summer, with the club reportedly wanting £40 million for the England international.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, scoring four goals and notching up six assists.

His standout performance came in the Champions League quarter-finals during a chaotic second half at Villa Park against the eventual European champions PSG.
However, Rashford missed the last month of the season with a hamstring injury, as Villa missed out on Champions League qualification on the final day.
Shortly afterwards, it was confirmed that the Villains would not be exercising the £40 million buy option in his loan deal.
Despite this, Rashford is still expected to leave Manchester United this summer, with Barcelona one of the clubs which are reportedly interested.

Rashford took to Instagram to update fans on his injury recovery, writing "feeling good again," alongside a smiling emoji.
But not everyone thought it was so positive.

One fan @kolkatatheke replied: "Every pre- season he does these photo shoots but then goes to see boxing matches half way round the world days before important matches!
"Makes no sense if you are feeling good 1 month before the season starts."
Rashford replied to the X user, writing: "I’m feeling good because I’m now injury free pal."
But that was not the end of the exchange, with the fan quickly backing down.

"Hope you always stay injury free… every United fan wants you fit and doing well. You are one of us always," @kolkatatheke wrote.
"It should pain you more than me about who won the league this year and where we finished. I don’t know if you will pay for us again( it’s complicated now ) but in case you do, pls give it all this time!
"God Bless."
A return to the United squad appears unlikely given the strained relationship between Rashford and Amorim.

But he is under contract until 2028 and earns an eye-watering £325,000 per week, which will inevitably reduce the number of suitors for the England international.
Barcelona's sporting director Deco admitted they like Rashford, but it may be difficult to agree with personal terms.
There have been rumours that the Catalans may offer United a player in exchange to make the deal possible.
