Ruben Amorim has decided to keep a Manchester United player who was previously 'guaranteed' to leave the club this summer, it has been reported.
United have only brought in one permanent signing this summer in Wolves forward Matheus Cunha, though have agreed a £71 million fee with Brentford to sign fellow frontman Bryan Mbeumo.
Outgoings have proven to be more difficult, with the only notable departures being that of Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof at the end of their contracts.

A 'bomb squad', featuring Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia, has reportedly been created, with the five outcasts not allowed to train alongside the first team.
Yet all five players remain at the club currently, with fans started to get impatient over their impending exits.
Amorim has instead focused on the promotion of United's academy players thus far, with a youthful squad named to take on Leeds in Stockholm on Saturday afternoon.
Among the travelling contingent is Mali youth international midfielder Sekou Kone.

The 19-year-old has been likened to Manchester City legend Yaya Toure, and United had planned to send him on loan to Swiss side Lausanne-Sport - who are owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS Group - to gain further experience.
That's according to the Daily Mirror's Nathan Salt, who reports that there is an 'expectation' that Kone will now stay at United after impressing Amorim in training.
The Malian featured in United's post-season tour of Hong Kong and produced a solid cameo against Hong Kong All-Stars.
The decision to keep Kone at Old Trafford would appear to indicate that United's main transfer priorities lie away from central midfield.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the Red Devils are pursuing a potential move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, and are targeting a new striker.
However, it is claimed that those moves are largely contingent on being able to move players on - something the club are still yet to achieve with under a month until the start of the new Premier League season.
