Manchester United’s summer transfer business looks set to continue after confirming the signing of Benjamin Sesko.
Ruben Amorim has been busy transforming his squad in the transfer market after ending the Premier League season with the worst points tally in the club’s history after replacing Erik ten Hag.
United moved quickly to secure the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo from Wolves and Brentford respectively with Amorim desperate to bolster his forward line after United had the sixth-worst record in the league in front of goal.
With Rasmus Hojlund failing to deceive and transfer-listed this summer, a new striker was next on the agenda and United fended off interest from Newcastle to sign Sesko from RB Leipzig in a deal worth £73.7million.

As well as recruits in the first-team, United remain in the hunt for the best academy prospects in the country and are reportedly closing in on their next signing.
United have already added Enzo Kana-Biyik and Harley Emsden-James to their youth ranks this summer and CentreDevils report the club are on the verge of completing a deal for Derby County goalkeeper Charlie Hardy.
Hardy made four appearances for the club’s U18 side despite being just 15-years-old and captained the side against Leeds, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

He has also represented England at youth level.
United have been linked with a stunning move to sign Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba in recent days with Amorim keen to bolster his options in midfield.
A deal for the 21-year-old is seen as unlikely according to reports with Brighton under no pressure to sell their star midfielder with just weeks remaining in the transfer window.

Amorim’s side have also been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after his future with the Champions League winners was plunged into doubt this week.
Andre Onana’s long-term future at Old Trafford remains unclear after costly mistakes during the season led to Amorim benching the former Inter goalkeeper for Altay Bayindir.
Sesko is expected to feature in United’s first Premier League game of the season when they host Arsenal on August 17.
The Slovenian international was heavily linked with a move to the Gunners who eventually completed a deal for Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP.
