Manchester United's first transfer of the summer has been confirmed during the team's win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
United beat Forest 3-2 in an entertaining final game at Old Trafford, where Casemiro graced the pitch for the final time and Bruno Fernandes equalled the Premier League assist record in a single season.
The Red Devils clinched third place under Michael Carrick, who is expected to be appointed permanent United boss on a two-year contract.
Casemiro's departure was announced a while back but another exit was confirmed on Sunday. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, on-loan striker Rasmus Hojlund's move to Napoli has been made permanent after an impressive season back in Italy.

While Napoli were unable to retain their Serie A crown, they have secured automatic Champions League qualification yet again and that achievement means Hojlund will be sticking around at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

When Napoli paid a €6 million loan fee to take Hojlund for the season, it was stipulated in the contract that he would join permanently if Napoli kept their place amongst Europe's elite.
A 3-0 win over Pisa confirmed their Champions League status, with Napoli five points ahead of Cesc Fabregas' Como with one game remaining in Serie A.
Hojlund set up fellow former United star Scott McTominay for the opener and scored the final goal in a comfortable 3-0 win.
The Dane has hit 15 goals in 43 appearances for Napoli, regularly leading the line after the injury issues experienced by Romelu Lukaku.
On top of the loan fee, United are poised to receive an additional €44 million (£38 million) for Hojlund, who joined for an initial £64 million in 2023.
Although a significant loss, the figure is the fifth-largest fee United have received for a player.
Hojlund netted 26 times in 95 games for the 13-time Premier League champions but has found his feet again in Italy, telling Danish broacaster TV2 that he has "got a team that believes in me a lot" as well as a a "sporting director, a president and a coach who wants me".
Joshua Zirkzee, another Serie A import, has struggled to get going at United but the new-look attacking trio of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have excelled, with each player hitting 10 Premier League goals en route to a third-placed finish.
