Manchester United fans have noticed Alejandro Garnacho's social media activity following Cristiano Ronaldo's stinging attack on Erik ten Hag.

Ronaldo has once again called out Ten Hag as he slammed the manager's attitude since taking charge of the club.

Of course, it comes after the superstar forward fell out with the Dutchman during his second spell at Old Trafford.

Speaking to Rio Ferdinand on his podcast, Ronaldo took aim at his former gaffer, saying: "Man United manager... you cannot say that you're not going to fight to win the Premier League or Champions League.

"You’ve to say like: maybe we’ve not the potential but we're going to try. You have to try!"

The 39-year-old added: "If Ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy... maybe he can help.

"He knows the club and the club should listen the guys who were there.

"Rio, Roy Keane, Scholes, Gary Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson.

"You cannot, you cannot rebuild a club without knowledge."

Garnacho has caught wind of Ronaldo's scathing verdict, having 'reacted' to his damning comments on Instagram.

A screenshot shows the star winger 'liking' Fabrizio Romano's post of his ex-teammate criticising Ten Hag.

Needless to say, Garnacho's social media activity got Man United fans online talking.

One X user wrote: "Garnacho liking Ronaldo’s criticism just shows where his loyalty really lies - not with the team."

A second said: "This is going to be very interesting."

A third added: "Bro's about to miss 12 games this season."

Several names were linked with replacing Ten Hag this summer until the club stuck by their manager following an end-of-season review.

But pressure is already mounting on the 54-year-old following back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Liverpool.

And it appears the unrest is spreading across the squad judging by the Argentine international's social media activity.

The 20-year-old played 34 games in all competitions in Ten Hag's debut season at Man United before playing a big part the following season.

He made 50 appearances, scoring 10 goals in the 2023/24 campaign.

This season, Garnacho has played in every league game but has only started one match - his side's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
