Manchester United fans have spotted two liked tweets from Alejandro Garnacho's Twitter account after the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.

United went behind twice at Dean Court through goals from Dominic Solanke and Justin Kluivert.

Bruno Fernandes scored a brace for Erik ten Hag's side, including a goal from the penalty spot in the second half, but United dropped two more points in the race for Champions League qualification.

It could have been even worse when referee Tony Harrington signalled a penalty for a foul by Willy Kambwala and Ryan Christie, but VAR deemed the initial offence to have taken place outside of the area.

Garnacho assisted Fernandes to score for United in the first half, but also lost the ball in the build-up to Bournemouth's opener in what was a mixed evening for the Argentina international.

He was taken off by Ten Hag at half-time, and replaced by Amad Diallo.

His Twitter account then liked a post by Mark Goldbridge, which read: "Garnacho has been one of our best players this season. Poor first half but taking him off at half time and holding him up as the problem is a joke. Many have done much worse week in week out and are still there."

Garnacho's account then liked a second post from Goldbridge, which criticised comments made by Ten Hag in his post-match press conference.

Explaining the reason behind his decision to substitute Garnacho, Ten Hag said: "First half, they were better. They created chances, but the good thing is we returned twice from losing positions.

"This team, the spirit is good, the resilience is good, they showed some character.

"I think we had to repair over the right side. We didn't play well, the spaces were there. In possession, we had to bring a sub there.

"Garnacho was during the week not training. Only yesterday. We thought to bring some energy and bring some more quality, quality in the sense of co-operation and togetherness on that right-hand side."
