Manchester United fans are convinced Erik ten Hag has fallen out with ANOTHER player following his decision for his side's game against Fulham.

Man United resumed their Premier League campaign against Fulham following their Carabao Cup elimination to Newcastle United.

Marcus Rashford was ruled out of the fixture as he suffered a knock in training, having partied in a nightclub after their defeat to Manchester City.

Ten Hag slammed the star forward, calling his night out 'unacceptable'. But he would've started if he was fully fit.

However, Man United fans think another dispute is brewing between the 53-year-old boss and Raphael Varane following the Dutchman's public falling out with Jadon Sancho.

The 30-year-old defender was resigned to a spot on the bench as Ten Hag opted for Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans at the back.

People on social media think something is up with the veteran Frenchman, having not made the starting XI at Craven Cottage.

Mark Goldbridge said: "No Varane again is odd. Evans and Maguire over him is just risky if it's just to prove a point."

A second tweeted: "Clearly something’s up with Varane. It’s make or break time in Ten Hag’s tenure and Varane is his best overall defender. Now benched 3 matches in a row. Not good."

A third added: "Something isn’t right between ETH and Varane. Can’t believe he’s not starting again."

A fourth wrote: "Fit enough Raphael Varane that makes the squad, surely starts, can only be a personal problem."

Another commented: "Looks like he’s continuing his problem with Varane too. Sooner he’s gone, the better."

Varane joined Man United from Real Madrid in 2021. He made 22 league appearances in his debut campaign in England's top flight, before playing 24 league games last season.

He's been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with reports suggesting a Cristiano Ronaldo reunion at Al Nassr could be on the cards in January.
