Manchester United secured an important 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday evening, which should mean they will play Champions League football next season.
A Matheus Cunha goal late in the first half was the difference, and it should help return Michael Carrick’s side to the elite European competition.
This has also let Chelsea’s hope of playing in the Champions League next season in doubt as they remain four points behind Liverpool in fifth, having played a game more, which is terrible news for Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine left the Red Devils to join Chelsea in the summer for £40 million, suggesting the reason behind this was to win silverware and play in the Champions League.

Garnacho was unable to have the desired impact on the match last night after entering the action as a first-half substitute, as Luke Shaw made easy work of the winger.

There appeared to be no love lost for the Argentine as Shaw took to Instagram to post an image of him dominating Garnacho in a tackle.
Man United’s players seemed to take joy from being able to shut down their former teammate and stop him from competing for the elite European trophy next season as Bruno Fernandes added a comment to Shaw’s post.
The Portuguese international added a GIF to Shaw’s post stating: “That’s a violation.”

Garnacho doesn't appear to be a popular figure among either the Man United squad or their fans, as chants could be heard throughout the game that were being directed towards the Argentine by the Red Devil faithful.
United fans revived a previous Carlos Tevez favourite, who left United to sign for cross-city rivals Manchester City in 2009, fans chanted: "Who’s that tw*t from Argentina? Who’s that money-grabbing w**re? Garnacho is his name, and he hasn’t got a brain, and he won’t be winning trophies anymore!"
Garnacho came through United's youth academy following his move from Atletico Madrid and would go on to play 144 games for the first team, scoring 26 goals and winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
However, he has struggled in London since making his move from Old Trafford, as he has only registered one goal in the Premier League for Chelsea.
Fans of the Blues will be well aware of the lack of impact he has had to this point and will be desperate for him to live up to his price tag to rescue their season by helping them win the FA Cup and earn a place in the Champions League for the following campaign, despite the odds looking increasingly unlikely.
