A former Manchester United bidder has laid out a bold transfer plan as part of a new strategy to bid for the Premier League giants.
Saudi sports supremo Turki Alalshikh sent shockwaves across world football when he claimed that a businessman is in an 'advanced stage' of purchasing Man United.
He later clarified his comments, but speculation is rife that the Glazer family will finally sell their majority stake.
There is an interested party from the UAE and Sheikh Jassim could reignite his interest after falling short in the race to buy the Red Devils not long ago, having lost out to Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who acquired a minority share in 2024.

Finnish businessman Thomas Zilliacus is also in the frame - two years after making an offer for the club.
According to the Mirror, he is now drafting a revised proposal, which includes his transfer plans as he prepares to approach investors regarding a bid for Man United.

Zilliacus has confirmed he is open to working with investors and launching a new bid, outlining the player he would attempt to sign to help turn around Ruben Amorim's fortune at Old Trafford.

He name-dropped Ousmane Dembele, hailing his recent showings, which culminated in his Ballon d'Or triumph this year.
"Look at PSG. Ousmane Dembele is such a perfect example," he said.
"Barcelona were pretty happy to see him go. Now he's got the Ballon d'Or and he's the star player in a team where he is allowed to play the way he should. But I also think the manager has managed to get him to understand that if he wants to be a star, he has to work. And now he's doing it."

Dembele, 28, joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund for a fee worth up to £135.5 million.
But he largely failed to impress in Spain, with Paris Saint-Germain securing his services in the summer of 2023.
The Frenchman has shone at PSG, helping his side win four trophies last season, including the Champions League.
He scored 35 goals last season and won the 2025 Ballon d'Or.

Dembele is the type of player that Zilliacus is looking at should he strike a deal with investors to buy Man United.
