Clear favourites have emerged to sign Jack Grealish from Manchester City as the search for his next club continues.
The former Aston Villa man faces an uncertain future after falling rapidly out-of-favour under Pep Guardiola following his £100m move to the Etihad.
Grealish has started just one game in 2025 and was left on the bench during the FA Cup final defeat against Crystal Palace with Guardiola opting to hand a debut to 19-year-old Claudio Echeverri when needing a goal instead.
This was compounded with Grealish being left out of the squad for this summer’s Club World Cup tournament in the United States giving him plenty of time to find his next club but there has been no resolution on his future with the new season rapidly approaching.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with loan moves to Premier League sides such as Everton and Spurs but a new club have emerged as favourites with odds being slashed on him making the move from Manchester.
It seems the ex-England international could be destined for Italy with Napoli now firm favourites to secure his signature.
If Grealish does head to the Serie A, he will be reunited with former City teammate Kevin De Bruyne who joined the Italian champions on a free transfer this summer as well as ex-Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay who has become a cult hero at the club after just one season abroad.

What Pep Guardiola has said about Jack Grealish’s future
Speaking about Grealish's lack of minutes after leaving him out of the final game of the season against Fulham, Guardiola said: "Of course, Jack has to play. He’s an unbelievable player that has to play football every three days. It didn’t happen this season and last season either. He needs to do it, with us or another place.

“It’s a question for Jack, his agent and the club. If he stays it will be fine and he will fight like he fought from day one to make a contribution, but not today.
“It’s nothing personal with Jack. I’m the person who fought for him to come here and the person who fought for him to stay here this season. I’m the one who said I want Jack Grealish. What happens in the future is a job for Txiki (Begiristain), Hugo (Viana) and the agents.”
Grealish remains under contract until 2027 and is one of the club’s highest earners. He returned to training at the City Football Academy earlier this week seeking resolution over his future.
