Joe Hart revealed he "got chills" after what Gianluigi Donnarumma said to him following Manchester City's 3-0 Champions League round of 16 first leg defeat to Real Madrid.
With both Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe missing, Real captain Federico Valverde stepped up with his first ever career hat-trick in a stunning 22-minute period at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Uruguayan scored a trio of fine finishes in the first half, completing his hat-trick with an outrageous flick and strike.
Real could have added a fourth to effectively kill the tie when Vinicius Jr was brought down by Donnarumma in the second half after latching in behind.

The Brazilian stepped up but saw his penalty saved by the giant Italian, who received a yellow card.
City were shell-shocked and struggled to find any type of rhythm, with a mountain to climb in the second leg.
There are only a handful of sides who have overturned a three-goal deficit in the history of Champions League, including Liverpool and Roma.
But Donnarumma is not giving up and told former City goalkeeper Hart as much after the game. Donnaruma came over to the ex England shotstopper after the loss when he was doing punditry pitchside for TNT Sports.

Presenter Laura Woods asked Hart what Donnarumma whispered to him and he revealed the 27-year-old said, "Let's go! It's not over, let's go!".
Hart added that the comment gave him "chills" ahead of the all-important second leg at the Etihad Stadium, where City require a minimum of three goals to force extra time.
Hart then shared an embrace with Thibaut Courtois, joking about the Belgian's assist for Valverde's opener.
The 38-year-old is a huge fan of Donnarumma though and waxed lyrical about him in a recent interview with SPORTbible after a strong start to life at Hart's beloved City.

“I'm not in awe, but I appreciate him," he said.
"I think he's mega. I love his kind of personality, how it comes through and he's one of those, how can you not like him?
“He just seems like such a likeable guy, he's consistent. I've watched him through his whole career, right the way up from when he was playing for AC Milan when he was 16.
“He almost felt like he was being handed the reins by the other Gianluigi [Buffon], obviously I'd imagine one of his heroes and a great goalkeeper in his own right.
“Just the way that he's put himself in big moments, big situations, I think he's handled himself superbly, even with the move in the summer - going from being the world's best goalkeeper and winning the Champions League with PSG with absolutely no qualms.
“They didn't need him, they didn't want to renew his contract, not a problem, so he's come to Manchester City and that's where his love lies now.
“Wherever he lays his feet, that's where his love lies and I was very similar as a goalkeeper.
“Fully committed, I think he's trusted by his teammates which is a massive thing and he's trusted by Manchester City and as a goalkeeper there's absolutely no better feeling.
“He's celebrated for what qualities he brings to the table and whatever flaws he does have - because we all do - he doesn't let them show and doesn't let them weaken him.”
