Erling Haaland has created an incredible piece of Champions League history with his goal for Manchester City against Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland put City 2-0 ahead on 29 minutes with what is his 18th goal of the 2025/26 season in all competitions.
Jeremy Doku found space on the left edge of the penalty area before delivering a low driven cross to Haaland, who powered the ball into the back of the net.
Phil Foden had earlier given City the lead as Pep Guardiola's side entered half-time in a dominant position.

For Haaland, who was named as captain in the absence of Ruben Dias, his goal created a personal piece of history which may never be matched.
As per Opta Analyst, the Norwegian has now scored in five consecutive Champions League matches for three different clubs, having represented RB Salzburg and Dortmund before moving to City in 2022.

Haaland is comfortably City's top scorer this season - with no other player, intriguingly, having scored more than one Premier League goal for the club this season.
Their second top scorer is Burnley centre-back Maxime Esteve, who scored two own goals in City's 5-1 thrashing of the Clarets in September.
In the Champions League, Haaland became the competition's joint top goalscorer, with Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, at the time of his goal, with Foden, Jeremy Doku and Bernardo Silva netting one each.
City are looking to record their third win in the Champions League this season, alongside a 2-2 draw at Monaco on matchweek two.
