Carlos Tevez had Man City 'payslip' with hilarious FA fine 'leaked' online

Carlos Tevez's Manchester City pay packet from 2010 appeared to be leaked online.

Carlos Tevez' Manchester City payslip from over a decade ago appeared to be leaked online.

Having been on loan at Manchester United for twos easons, Tevez signed for City in a controversial £25 million move and went on to score 73 goals in 148 appearances.

He was one of the first high-profile signings under City's Abu Dhabi ownership and helped put the Blues on the map.

Tevez was said to earn a £200,000-a-week at the Etihad Stadium but according to a document shared online on social media, his pay packet was a lot higher.

Interestingly the slip says "Manchester City 08/09" despite being dated for March 2010 and so some are right to have their doubts over the legitimacy.

But if it is to be believed, £720,287 was the Argentine's gross wage but he also had two bonuses - one to the tune of £20,000 for accomodation and another which was titled "M.P bonus".

Tevez, living in Prestbury, Cheshire, was allegedly paying £7786-a-month for national insurance, with £330,766 in P.A.Y.E to rack up nearly £3.2 million in tax for the tax year 2009/10.

Although not confirmed, other deductions include £195 for tickets, £118.30 for hospitality and a £24 fine from the FIFA.

His net pay totalled a whopping £408,397.27 for the month, showing the incredible finances football can bring.

Tevez would later earn even bigger bucks in the Chinese Super League, where he was said to take home a whopping £635,000-a-week and made £32 million from a 'seven month holiday'.

Yahoo Sports did a story on the leaked slip and received an angry response from Tevez's legal team.

A second City payslip appeared to show Raheem Sterling's basic pay and loyalty bonus, as well as the monumental tax bill of £5.4 million.

The slip was not confirmed but it was claimed that the paper was left in his car when he took it to the garage.
