A journalist covering Manchester City has delivered an update on the club's ongoing 115 charges case with the Premier League.
City were hit with 115 charges back in February 2023 after being accused of breaching financial rules set out by the Premier League. City have denied any wrongdoing throughout the entire process.
In September 2024, a hearing into the case began and finished in December.
However, nearly a year on after the hearing ended, no decision has been announced.

Leading sports lawyer Maxime van den Dijssel of Brandsmiths previously claimed that it is "common" for the process to take such a long time.
This week, The Independent's Miguel Delaney stated that there are "growing murmurs" that a verdict could arrive this month.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail's Jack Gaughan gave a brief update on the case, stating that 'drums have beating louded and louded this month' amid the possibility of an 'imminent decision'.
He wrote: "Well, how many times have the jungle drums been beating towards an imminent decision now? At least three since February. And they’ve become louder and louder this month.

"It’s coming, clearly. Largely because the Premier League cannot go on for much longer without clarity over such a seismic hearing involving its most successful club over the last decade."
Gaughan went on to reveal the one thing he has 'noticed' as the wait for a verdict continues.
He added: "The thing I’ve noticed on making calls around the hearing has been that wildly different outcomes and timeframes can be presented as fact, depending on who you talk to.

"Which can be the case on countless topics, but is particularly pronounced with this. It’s been an incredibly tough story to pick your way through. City's stance remains the same: they will clear their name."
Although unconfirmed, reports suggest that if City were to be found guilty, they could face punishments such as fines, points deductions, and compensation claims from other clubs.
