A compilation of Thiago Alcantara's performance against Borussia Dortmund in the annual LFC Foundation charity match is going viral for all the right reasons.
The 34-year-old, who called time on his playing career in 2024 following an injury-plagued campaign with Liverpool, was involved in Saturday's game alongside plenty of well-known faces.
Steven Gerrard made an appearance at Anfield alongside former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who made an emotional return to the dugout alongside Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush and John Aldridge.
It was an entertaining afternoon of action in front of a 60,000-strong crowd, and it didn't take long for those in attendance to witness a moment of brilliance.

With six minutes on the clock, the ever-present Alcantara got on the end of a Ryan Babel pass before lifting the ball over goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller with a deft touch to make it 1-0.
Thiago went on to deliver a masterclass alongside Gerrard, with his performance in the middle of the park being made into a four-minute compilation, as seen in the video above.
Some fans even argued that Liverpool should try and tempt the Spaniard out of retirement.
One said: "The no look pass and the finish from that angle? Thiago’s still got it, man. Hand him a 6-month deal now," while another commented: "Can he come out of retirement??? We need him."
A third wrote: "Watching Thiago annoys me man. We were robbed of an all-timer because of these injuries. He 100% could've been playing till 37 given his style of play. I'd genuinely try and convince him to come out of retirement."
A fourth said: "Thiago can easily come out of retirement and play in this current Liverpool team," and a fifth added: "Thiago needs to drop this retirement gimmick and sign back with us."

First-half goals from Alcantara and Jay Spearing gave Liverpool a two-goal lead at half-time, but Mohamed Zidan scored just past the hour mark before the imposing figure of Jan Koller headed home to make it 2-2.
Thiago Alcantara opens up on retirement decision
Shortly after announcing his retirement, Thiago explained his decision to walk away from the game at 33.
"The decision [to retire] was forced by physical issues," he told Liverpool's official website. "But I’m just keeping fit and trying to play as much as I can with my friends, and trying to be alive in the game."
Speaking about his time at Liverpool, the Spaniard added: "I believe it was one of the best times of my life."
