Jamie Carragher immediately reacted after Liverpool had a second disallowed goal against Burnley.
The Reds went 1-0 up through Darwin Nunez's fine finish from outside the area in the sixth minute, before a Cody Gakpo strike was chalked off for a foul from the Uruguayan in the build-up.
However Jurgen Klopp's men were more aggrieved about the second goal which did not stand.

Harvey Elliott thought he had more or less sealed the points after finishing from Ryan Gravenberch's cut-back.
Yet a VAR check took place to see if Mo Salah was offside. The Egyptian was beyond the last defender but the issue was whether he had been in the eyeline of goalkeeper James Trafford.
Referee Paul Tierney looked at the screen and decided that it was the case, leading to the goal being disallowed.

That was despite the fact that Salah had been pushed into an offside position by Burnley defender Jordan Beyer.
Carragher wasn't happy and reposted a tweet from a furious Liverpool fan, who said: "He’s offside because he got f***ing pushed into an offside position by the defender!!! Absolute joke. F**k this VAR s*** right off."
That was a typical response from a Liverpool fan online following the decision, with many others taking to social media to vent.

One fumed: "Goalie is never ever ever saving that in a million years and Salah is pushed into an offside position by the Burnley player anyway. Absolute f***ing joke."
A second stated; "Mohamed Salah was pushed into an offside position. Absolutely shocking refereeing display yet again! Not one person complained either."
A third agreed: "Liverpool goal ruled out because Salah had been pushed into an offside position. Brilliant."
Another user added: "Salah gets pushed into the offside position by the way, so if they’re ruling out the goal, then we best get the pen."

A fifth reacted: "I’m starting to hate football, Salah was pushed offside."
The disallowed strike didn't matter all that much in the grand scheme of things though.
That's because Diogo Jota came off the bench to secure a seventh straight Boxing Day win in a row for Liverpool.
