Liverpool will be forced to pay a significant amount to Arne Slot if they decided to sack the Dutchman amid a disastrous run of form.
The Premier League champions have just one win in their last seven league fixtures and have slipped down to 11th in the table following a 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
Murillo, Nicolo Savona and Morgan Gibbs-White all struck for Sean Dyche's side, giving Forest a second consecutive triumph away at Liverpool.
Despite spending £450 million on new recruits, Liverpool have lost eight of their last 11 games and pressure has piled on Slot, even though he guided the club to a record 20th league title earlier this year.

Former boss Jurgen Klopp has been made the favourite to replace Slot with the bookmakers if the club's board did decide to relieve him of his duties.

However, unless he walked away and resigned, Slot would be entitled to a substantial sum. He still has a contract until 2027 having agreed a three-year deal to leave Feyenoord and take over from Klopp in 2024.
He has not penned fresh teams and is understood to earn £6.6 million per year - as well as handsome trophy-related bonuses.
Effectively, if Liverpool were to sack Slot imminently if results do not improve then they would be required to pay up more than £10 million to the 47-year-old.
Liverpool return to action on Wednesday when they host PSV in the Champions League before travelling to West Ham in their next Premier League fixture.
Slot is arguably the manager under the most pressure in world football and after the Forest loss, he took responsibility for the dreadful run of results.
"If things go well or things go bad it's always my responsibility," Slot said post-match.
"We weren't able to create enough. I tried to adjust a few things that didn't really work out. We weren't able to score a goal.
"We are in a very bad spell. It's that simple. We also know in a few days we play Champions League."
Asked about Liverpool's approach for the next stretch of games, he added: "Keep our head up. Work incredibly hard and try to turn things around. It's been difficult to this until now.
"We have quality players. It's my job to get the best out of them. I am not at the moment. That's why I say it's my responsibility."
