Jurgen Klopp walks out of interview with Norwegian TV after 'really disappointing' question following Man Utd defeat

The Liverpool manager was unhappy with the line of questioning after Sunday's FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford.

Jurgen Klopp walked out of an interview with Norwegian TV channel V Sport after he was asked a "really disappointing" question following Liverpool's 4-3 defeat to Manchester United.

Amad Diallo scored a dramatic last-minute winner for United on Sunday as Erik ten Hag's side secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals, where they will take on Coventry City.

Jurgen Klopp was crestfallen on the Old Trafford touchline at full-time. It looked like they had done enough, when Harvey Elliott netted in the 105th minute to give them a 3-2 lead.

But late goals from Marcus Rashford and Diallo topped off one of the most dramatic FA Cup ties in recent memory.

After the final whistle in Manchester, a clearly frustrated Klopp spoke to Norwegian TV channel V Sport 1 – although the post-match interview didn't exactly go to plan.

As seen above, the reporter asked: "Normally intensity is the name of your game. So how comes it became so difficult in extra time?"

Klopp hit back saying it was a "dumb" question before going off on a tangent about games played.

Then, after an awkward few seconds, the reporter attempts to ask another question but the Liverpool manager interrupted, saying: "C'mon, you are obviously not in great shape".

He proceeded to walk off before those inside the studio reacted to his sudden departure.

Here's how fans on social media reacted to Klopp's interview.

One said: "That's just embarrassing," while another commented: "Seriously, there is no need to humiliate the interviewer."

A third wrote: "Take some accountability for once. His stubbornness is what cost them the game. He literally threw it away."

A fourth said: "I’m always the first to criticise Klopp, but I’d probably have told him to p**s off after a game like that too."

A fifth added: "This is pretty disrespectful and not needed at all."
