Curtis Jones has spoken out to reveal exactly what Mohamed Salah said to his Liverpool teammates after his controversial interview.
Following Liverpool's dismal 3-3 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road, star player Salah decided to address the media in a shocking post-match interview.
The winger condemned the club and manager Arne Slot, claiming that he felt he had been 'thrown under the bus' after starting on the bench for the third game in a row.
Following the incident, Salah was dropped from Liverpool's squad for the 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League, but returned to the squad for the 2-0 victory against Brighton, suggesting the situation had been remedied.

And now, Liverpool teammate Jones has spoken out to clarify exactly what happened in the aftermath of Salah's interview and what the Egyptian said to the dressing room shortly afterwards.

In the immediate aftermath of Salah's controversial comments, his Liverpool teammates remained relatively quiet, allowing Slot to represent the club's feelings publicly.
But that has now changed, as Jones has said that he holds no hard feelings towards his teammate after Salah approached the rest of the team to apologise for how the interview may have impacted them.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Jones revealed: "Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff. He apologised to us and was like, 'If I've affected anybody or made you feel any sort of way, I apologise'. That's the man that he is.
"I can only speak from me knowing Mo and how he is with us and how he acted on that. He was positive as well. He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him.
"I guess it's just part of wanting to be a winner and I don't think he will be the last."
Although Salah returned to the pitch with Liverpool as an early substitute against Brighton, he will not play again for the Reds for until mid-January as he represents Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations.

However, when he does return, it's clear that there will be no ill-feeling towards the 33-year-old as Jones sympathises with the reasoning for his sudden outburst.
"I get that there are certain ways you can go about things, but if a lad's fine to just be on the bench and he doesn't want to play and help the team, then I think that's more of an issue," Jones added.
"When there's been any sort of anger from us, including myself, it's always been from a good place. In the moment, it might not have come out in the right way, but it's never been to affect the team, the staff, the manager, anybody like that.
"We're past that now and we're gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games."
