Footage of a Tottenham supporter chanting at Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has gone viral on social media.
Liverpool travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without talisman Mohamed Salah who had linked up with Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations and ran out 2-1 winners in a frenetic Premier League encounter.
Alexander Isak opened the scoring from the bench but was forced off the field seconds later after sustaining a significant injury under challenge from Micky van de Ven in the process of putting the ball in the back of the net.
Fortunately for Liverpool, Hugo Ekitike continued his fine form in Isak’s absence scoring a fine header to ensure Richarlison’s late goal was nothing more than a consolation with Xavi Simons and Cristian Romero also receiving their marching orders during the game.

Footage from before kick-off has now started doing the rounds showing a Spurs fan directing an unfriendly chant at the Liverpool boss.
The Spurs fan recorded himself chanting ‘badly, baldy over there - what’s it like to have no hair?”
Slot appeared amused at the chant and gave the group of fans a wry smile before refusing their request potentially for a picture or autograph.
Reacting to the footage, one fan said: “He took it well.”
Another agreed, adding: “That’s jokes. He took it well tbf.”
A third said: “Bruh was speechless.”
Alexander Isak injury update
Fresh reports claim Liverpool are fearful the Swedish forward has sustained significant lower leg damage in the challenge with Van de Ven.
The record signing was unable to celebrate only his 2nd league goal for the Reds with his teammates and was swiftly replaced as entering the field as a substitute.
Isak is yet to undergo an MRI scan to confirm the full extent of the damage and Liverpool are expected to release a statement when those results have been clarified.
Arne Slot said after the game: “If a player doesn’t even try to come back, that is usually not a good thing but I cannot say anything more than that.
“That is just a gut feeling and nothing medical…let’s not be too negative yet. We don’t know yet. Let’s hope he is back with us soon.”
