Tom Cairney sprinted over to Harrison Reed and made an X-rated remark after his Fulham teammate scored a goal of the season contender against Liverpool.
In the dying embers of Sunday afternoon's Premier League clash at Craven Cottage, Reed cancelled out Cody Gakpo's 94th-minute effort with an extraordinary strike from range.
The 30-year-old midfielder, who came into the game having not scored since April 2023, beat Allison from 30 yards to make it 2-2 and maintain Fulham's five-match unbeaten streak.
After the full-time whistle, Sky cameras made their way over to Reed and teammate Tom Cairney, who, like many viewers at home, was in disbelief at what he'd just witnessed.
Cairney could be heard saying, "What the f--- was that?" before turning away.
Here's how fans on social media reacted to the comment.
One fan wrote: "Sky picking up Tom Cairney saying “what the f--- was that” to Reed," and a second commented: "Tom Cairney saying “what the f--- was that” to Harrison Reed at the end."
A third said: "Cairney to Reed after FT: 'What the f--- was that?!' What a goal!!!!"
A fourth wrote: "Cairney had to ask Reed “what the f--- was that?” Because honestly WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT," and a fifth added: "Tom Cairney summing it up: "What the fuck was that" Surely one of the goals of the season!"
Fulham took a first-half lead through former Liverpool man Harry Wilson but despite periods of dominance, the home side fell behind following goals from Florian Wirtz and Gakpo.
However, that stoppage time striker from Reed handed Marco Silva's side a deserved point. Speaking to Sky Sports after the full-time whistle, Reed spoke about his late heroics.
"I came on and then two minutes later they scored so I did my best to keep the boys going," he said. "I knew we were going to get another chance, I thought it would be a bit more clear cut than that, but it came to me nicely."
Reed added: "Kevin has given me the ball and I had no other option but to hit one. What a feeling. Not sure on the celebration, I was a bit everywhere, but a deserved point definitely."

"When we were losing, it was completely unfair for us," he said. "We scored an amazing first goal and we explored that space between the full-back and the centre-back."
Silva added: "It was a brilliant moment from Harrison Reed, it put more fairness in the game."
