Long-haired Haaland is no more. Ahead of Manchester City's Premier League opener against Bournemouth, the Norwegian forward has posted a clip of his new look on social media.
On Sunday morning, Haaland showed off his new hairstyle to fans after documenting the transformation with a series of pictures.
As seen below, the 26-year-old initially went viral with a post that was captioned: "Short hair don’t care." He later posted a video of his transformation alongside the comment: "New season, new trim."
After uploading the pictures to Instagram, former Borussia Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham reacted by saying: "No way."

Like Bellingham, plenty of fans were surprised to see Haaland ditch his iconic look, with one saying: "I was not expecting that." A second wrote: "Those without Haaland in their FPL teams have made a huge mistake. New haircut bounce is coming."
A third added: "And that’s how Samson lost his powers."

Ahead of the World Cup, Haaland was asked if he would consider shaving his hair for the tournament. However, he played down the idea, mentioning the advice Zlatan Ibrahimovic once gave him.
“Zlatan told me – never cut your hair because the strength is in the hair," he said.
Enzo Maresca reveals bizarre rule that stops Erling Haaland ever becoming Man City captain
One of the first big decisions Enzo Maresca has to make as Manchester City's new head coach is deciding who will be his new captain following the departure of Bernardo Silva.
During Pep Guardiola's reign, City often had a leadership group which was voted for by the players. However, for his final season, the Catalan personally selected Silva to be his captain.
At the time of writing, Ruben Dias, Haaland and Rodri form City's leadership group but Maresca has since explained why the Norwegian being captain presents a problem to one of the rules he imposed during his previous two jobs.
"At Leicester and Chelsea, I had a rule that when we scored, the captain had to come to the bench for instructions," Maresca explained, as per Sam Lee of The Athletic.
"But if the captain scores, then he can celebrate. If Erling is the captain, f****** hell, we have a problem. Can you imagine?
"If you saw in the game here on Wednesday, Ruben (Dias) came over to the bench. I think even if it is two or three minutes in, there is always something to adjust."
