Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe could be set for swift exit from Nike, according to reports in France.
Mbappe has been contracted to the swoosh brand since he was just eight years of age and their faith in was justified when he burst onto the scene with AS Monaco.
One of the faces of Nike, the former Paris-Saint Germain striker has his own signature edition boots, which were only just released and capture his connection with the Paris streets.
But in a shock turn of events, it appears as though Mbappe's association with Nike could well be coming to an end. According to Le Parisien, Mbappe's deal with Nike is due to expire and the chances of him extending his contract appear slim.

The report notes that Mbappe, who penned a lucrative Nike deal in 2019, is being heavily courted by both Adidas and Under Armour.
With his incredible marketability, Mbappe would be a major coup for any brand and will undoubtedly be paid a significant sum by whoever he ends up signing with.
The France international wears shirts made by Adidas with Real, who have a long-standing affiliation with the three-striped brand.

Mbappe is said to earn €14 million per year at Nike but his deal finishes in the summer of 2026 and rival brands are waiting in the wings.
He could well follow in the footsteps of his Real teammate Rodrygo Goes, who swapped Nike for Adidas recently.
Mbappe's worrying injury update
Mbappe has been struggling with a knee injury this season and a new report from The Athletic claims that the problem was actually misdiagnosed by Real's medical staff.
It's claimed that an MRI scan was conducted on the wrong leg and he featured in three games after a scan on the wrong, uninjured right knee - even though there were signs of inflammation on his left knee.
Eventually, a different scan found that he had suffered a partial posterior knee ligament tear but he had already played three times before the mistake was realised.
Mbappe was a substitute in the 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid on Sunday and has scored 38 goals in all competitions this season.
