An early favourite to sign Kingsley Coman have reportedly 'made contact' with the Bayern Munich star.

Kingsley Coman is one of the most decorated players in world football, but his time at Bayern Munich looks to be coming to an end.

The Bundesliga giants are reportedly open to selling the French winger this summer as he has no place in the plans of new manager Vincent Kompany.

There will be no shortage of potential suitors for Coman, and it appears that Barcelona are at the front of the queue.

According to Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona have made contact with Coman’s representatives as they sound out a move.

Hansi Flick is eager to add a wide player to his squad, and he is a fan of Coman having worked with him at Bayern.

However, Barca do not consider Coman a priority.

On Friday the Spanish giants completed the £51 million signing of Dani Olmo from RB Leipzig, but they have not given up on their pursuit of Nico Williams.

Williams - who starred for Spain at Euro 2024 - looks set to stay at Athletic Bilbao, but Barcelona are still trying to free up wage space in order to make a late move possible.

To help matters, Bayern are open to loaning Coman.

Even if Barca don't sign Williams or Coman, they still need to raise at least £40 million in the next week in order to register several first team stars - including Olmo - to play in La Liga.

Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Coman as they look to replace Kylian Mbappe. Coman left PSG in 2014 to join Juventus, before he joined Bayern.
