Jermaine Jenas was sacked by the BBC and texts he allegedly sent during the Qatar World Cup have been revealed.

Jenas presented The One Show and appeared on Match of the Day before the corporation terminated his contract due to believed ‘inappropriate behaviour.

A BBC spokesperson said: "We can confirm Jermaine Jenas is no longer part of our presenting line-up."

Jenas later admitted to sending inappropriate messages to two of his BBC colleagues but said he did ‘nothing illegal’ and denied sending any sexual pictures or videos.

The 41-year-old said: “I just want to apologise to everyone I have hurt through my actions. I am sorry."

Jenas worked with the BBC during their coverage of the Qatar World Cup and new allegations have been made against the former England international.

A woman who worked at the event claims Jenas begged her for bikini pictures and sent her a picture of his manhood as per The Daily Mail.

She told The Mail she met Jenas in December 2022 in Doha and Jenas began texting her.

It is believed Jenas strongly denies claims that messages to the woman were unsolicited.

Jenas allegedly wrote: “I keep thinking these are pics of u when they arrive - when it arrives I'm like.. oh nice finally I get to see this body.”

Jenas also asked on multiple occasions to see the woman wearing a bikini before inviting her to a Calvin Harris gig which she refused.

Jenas claimed Harris was his ‘boy’, meaning one of his close friends, which is how he managed to secure tickets to the show. When the woman didn’t understand what the term meant, Jenas allegedly wrote: “Hang on. You want my boy now?” with a laughing emoji.

It’s reported Jenas then sent her a picture of him holding his private parts.

She told The Daily Mail in response to the texts: “I was shocked, I felt violated. The whole time I'd replied to his messages because I felt I had to, it was my job to bring in clients, but always keeping my distance and I said I wouldn't send him the photos he wanted.

“Apart from that, we were in Qatar, where sex outside marriage is illegal. What he wanted could have got us locked up for seven years.

“But he kept insisting. I thought, you are shameless. And I told him let's talk about this. He couldn't control himself and send me a a photo of his penis.

“I didn't reply and he later sent a message saying 'Didn't you like it?' I still didn't reply and after a few more messages he blocked me.”

On his sacking from the BBC, she added: “I was hoping never to hear about him again, but his sacking from the BBC just confirmed the type of person I thought he was.

“A liar, a traitor, who doesn't respect his family and doesn't respect women who make it clear they aren't interested.”

A source close to Jenas told The Sun: "Jermaine completely denies these texts were unsolicited. They were between two consenting adults.

“She handed Jermaine her number and was trying to arrange to meet him, whilst desperate for him to bring his VIP mates to her parties.

"Funny now more than two years on the texts were not wanted.”

A BBC spokesperson said: "As we have explained previously, he is no longer part of our presenting line up."
