Brazil wonderkid Endrick received an eye-opening first day welcome by teammate Gabriel Magalhaes during Tuesday's open training session.

Earlier this month, the 17-year-old forward earned his first call-up to the Brazil national team ahead of upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.

Endrick, who will join Real Madrid next summer after the La Liga side paid his reported £52 million release clause, has been heavily involved for Palmeiras this season.

He gave the world a glimpse of his undoubted talent last Wednesday, when he inspired his side to a dramatic 4-3 win against Botafogo, where he produced a never-seen-before touch before scoring.

And after his performances for Abel Ferreira's side, the teenager will be hoping to replicate that form for the Brazil national team in the coming days.

"I will bring dedication, joy, and happiness. I hope to contribute these qualities," Endrick said upon his arrival at the Canarinha's training camp.

Shortly after his arrival, the highly-rated Endrick trained alongside the likes of Marquinhos, Bruno Guimaraes and soon-to-be-teammate Vinicius Junior.

And it was here when Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes knocked him off the ball with a hefty shoulder barge. Check out the incident in full below:

Ahead of Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Colombia on Friday, Real Madrid winger Rodrygo was full of praise for Endrick, who has clearly impressed in camp.

"Endrick is very strong, very fast and has a brutal explosiveness," he said.

"He is very dangerous. He scored many goals in the juniors. He has to be very different to play here at the age of 17. We always talk, not just now. Sometimes he asks us things from there (Brazil) and now we're better being closer."

As mentioned by Rodrygo, the forward has showcased his decisiveness in front of goal in recent years.

Endrick scored 165 goals in 169 games at youth level, including seven in seven during the 2022 Sao Paulo Youth Football Cup, and was soon linked linked with a host of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester City and Chelsea.

Now, after agreeing to join Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid, he is hoping to make a real impression on the international stage.
