Soon-to-be Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick gave the world a glimpse of his undoubted talent on Wednesday when he inspired Palmeiras to a dramatic 4-3 win against Botafogo.

The 17-year-old Brazilian forward, who will join Los Blancos in the summer of 2024 after they paid his reported £52 million release clause, has been marked as a star of the future for some time.

After scoring 165 goals in 169 games at youth level, including seven in seven during the 2022 Sao Paulo Youth Football Cup, Endrick was linked with a host of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester City and Chelsea.

He eventually opted for the Bernabeu – a move that was confirmed in December last year.

"Real Madrid CF, Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, Endrick and his family have reached an agreement whereby the player will be able to join Real Madrid when he comes of age in July 2024," a statement from Real Madrid read.

"Until then, Endrick will continue his training at the SE Palmeiras. The player will travel to Madrid in the coming days to visit our club's facilities."

Since the big-money move was confirmed, Endrick has been heavily involved for Palmeiras.

And on Wednesday night, the Brazilian forward helped inspire the most dramatic of comebacks, when the away side came from 3-0 down to win 4-3 against top-of-the-league Botafogo.

Endrick scored twice in the Brazilian Serie A clash, including a ridiculous solo goal to hand Abel Ferreira's side a lifeline.

The teenager would also produce a fake shot like no other, using his knee to control the ball before firing home with a great strike. Check it out below:

One fan commented on the clip, saying: "The touch and the finish on this Endrick goal is ridiculous," while another wrote: "This touch after the fake shot from Endrick is SO good.Real Madrid have got themselves another gem."

A third said: "I’ve never ever saw someone doing what Endrick did yesterday oh my god."

A compilation of Endrick's performance against Botafogo would soon emerge online.

17 years old, he’s a freak.

We’re now slowly seeing the Endrick we saw totally dominate at youth level.

There’s shades of Pelé in his improvisation, Romario in his dribbling, Adriano in his ball striking.
